The next full moon occurs right after my birthday this year on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. My birthday, which falls on the Sunday before the full moon, has brought with it along of very interesting beliefs and conclusions about the universe and our place in it. For instance, Express.co.uk wrote an article about the end of the world happening on September 23, 2017 because North Korea was supposedly going to bomb the globe and cause mass destruction. Obviously it didn’t happen; thank goodness. Apparently during the same year, 2017, there were self-professed Bible prophecy instructors stating that Jesus Christ would return to the world on my birthdate, September 23. This belief was based on an interpretation of some verses from Revelations in correspondence with how certain planets were aligned. The most popular argument against this superstition surrounding my birthday last year were Bible verses like Matthew 24:36 “…but concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” I’m no longer Christian, but growing up in the church I was taught clearly that there isn’t a single individual on this planet that could predict the end of times. Because of this unknowing you had to take responsibility for your actions moment by moment, day by day and so on. You never knew when you’d die and you never knew when Judgement Day or the return of Jesus was to arrive. Again, it didn’t happen. This year (2018) there seems to be more predictions about an end of times on my birthday and these conspiracists have interpreted the star movements to confirm their hypothesis apparently. There are videos on YouTube and pages of articles on google and Bing from what I’ve seen. September 23rd of every year also falls on an astrological cusp; it borders Virgo and Libra. I myself more associate with Libra traits but many people have claimed to witness Virgo traits in my personality as well.

According to moontracks.com the full moon on September 25, 2018 will be in the sign of Aries. What does that mean for us? First off, get your crystals and place them under the moon light for cleansing and rejuvenation by the universe that cradles us.
Before, during, and after putting your crystals out for cleansing you should understand how the Full Moon in Aries will affect us all this year. Another name this moon goes by is the Harvest moon, because it is by this time we traditionally pull in our last harvest for the year until spring returns. This moon brings us face to face with darkness as we begin to feel within our bones the lengthening of the nights, the dropping of temperatures, and the changing of the leaves.
The full moon in Aries will motivate the feelings within you to share your leadership skills, observe each moment with the future in mind, reflect upon ourselves and what we’re contributing to the planet, and on a more negative side it will enhance tension and in bad cases volatility and violence. If you have more than one individual in the room feeling the leadership bug there is a chance they will build each up with enough tension to cause an uproar, screaming, and sometimes fighting. Aries is a fire sign, which is great for the love life, but terrible when patience and compassion has been thrown out the window. The fire in Aries can get out of hand and consume those around them with their feelings ablaze.

When the full moon comes around, take an honest reflective look at yourself and ask what is it that you can do to bring joy to you and your world? If you notice yourself wanting to be right instead of respected you might need to issue yourself a slight time-out to compose yourself.
A positive to consider regarding Aries is its pure confidence, drive to achieve, and ability to dig deep down within themselves to overcome traumas and sad memories. Full moon in Aries will reflect through you by increasing your confidence, emphasizing your personal power, and providing the strength to take on difficult thoughts and emotions.

Tap into the power you hold within, we all have a small bit of Aries in us even if we weren’t born into the sign, and stroll through your day with confidence in yourself, reiterating your mantra “I can. I will. I am!” You can achieve anything today; make it count!
